309: HE DOESN'T GET PAID ENOUGH TO BE NICE TO ANYONE

Missions:
9: Homemade Bikini Contest
    The Rules:
Each team will split themselves into three male-female couples.
Each couple will show together and be judged as a couple.
Couples must use the same theme for trunks and swim suit (male and female)
This is not a "skin to win" event, nudity will not produce points.
Swimsuits must be homemade and cannot be purchased.
The swimsuits do not have to be bikinis or traditional swimsuits, but the outfits must qualify as swimwear.
What you didn't see on the show:
At the Road Rules table, Veronica turns her attention to Los, suggesting that he model a suit fashioned after traditional African swimwear. Picking up on her sarcasm, Los shoots her a quick look, but rather than responding, he eats his french fries in silence. Smiling, Piggy shakes her head and cautiosuly remarks, "I don't know..." Piggy turns to study Los, suddenly realizing who she is dealing with and admits, "Well, this is Los. Maybe we can use this as an opportunity for 'The Struggle'" Los gazes at her with an obligatory grin. "Fight the Power, " she chides.
Meanwhile on the RW bus: Shyly, Kat admits that she doesn't have any inspiration. "I don't put my body up for that kind of approval or scrutiny. I won't go naked on stage for the sake of a drunken bar crowd. I need something that makes me feel beautiful!" she pleads. Walking over to Kat, David puts his arm around her and says soothingly, "We don't have to put you in a bikini - we can make you a sexy sarong!" On a roll of inspiration, David suggests that they represent the Greek Games and Kat smiles with relief and gratitude. "Can I have a whip?" Kat laughs, but only half-joking.

What Deanna had to say about the episode:
This weeks mission is a homemade swimsuit competition in Key West Florida. Mardi Gras Island style. They are judged on creativity, originality and personality. Everyone within the teams has to pick a partner. Piggy is annoyed that Los is her partner. Veronica gets to be with yes, and of course Holly and Dan are together. Amaya gets to be The Real World team captain. Amazingly she rises to the challenge. Amaya is very into sewing and making costumes.
The Road Rules team is a little lax. Piggy is out getting drunk instead of picking out a theme for she and Los' costumes. Who could blame her I would probably be getting drunk too if Los were my partner. He is such a racist. This guy is wearing a shirt that says "I'm not paid enough to be nice to you." It completely fits his attitude.
The girls on the Real World team are really pulling it together for this one. They are working hard designing and making their costumes. Finally Los and Piggy find a theme for their costume. They are the feather people. What?! Oh well. It is competition time and they are judged by 6 judges the highest score each couple can receive from each judge is 10. So a couple can accumulate the highest score of 60. Amaya and mike are partners. They look allright. They came out squirting whipped cream. Something about a Sugardaddy. They scored a 49. Los and Piggy come out in their feathers and are totally being booed. Poor Piggy. 29 points. Heather and Teck roll out the red carpet for themselves. They look awesome. Heather is all in a red suit with playing cards all over it. Teck is dressed as a joker. Veronica and Yes are decked out in saran wrap. They looked really amazing. 50 points. David and Kat come out in Toga suits. They are wearing the perfect suits for themselves. They score a well deserved 50 points. Holly and Dan are a riot. She is wearing a golf green bikini complete with golf balls on her strategically placed golf tees. For their grand finale Dan swings at Hollys balls. Huh? I guess you had to be there. Anyway, The Real World Nailed this one and Amaya didn't get taken away in a stretcher. Afterwards there is a scuffle in the Road Rules bus. Allegedly Piggy attacked Los. He says she punched him. I don't think it was caught on film. Maybe she did it maybe she didn't lets just hope she doesn't get kicked off the show. The P-I-G is cool. Good-bye for now.

What Bunim/Murray had to say about the episode:
The buses drive the long stretch of a bridge to Key West, where the Challenge - Mates are informed of their next mission: a homemade bikini contest. They quickly partner up, and get to work gathering supplies for their outfits. This is a creative challenge that excites everybody -- everybody that is, except for the duo of Piggy and Los, who are neither thrilled with the mission nor the prospect of working together. That night at dinner, Los insults Dan, Piggy and Holly, further alienating himself from the group. It is clear that Los and Piggy are not going to be able to cooperate. The following evening, the kids don their festive (and revealing) costumes, sashaying down the catwalk and playing to the judges. Both teams prove to be exceptionally imaginative, but Piggy and Los stick out like a sore thumb. Their outfits look hastily -made and poorly created. With their low score reflecting on the rest of the team, Road Rules loses the competition. Feeling guilty, Piggy blames the defeat on Los - who is equally unhappy with Piggy. The feuding finally reaches a breaking point, as Los retrieves a challenge 2000 director and accuses Piggy of attacking him off-camera. A visibly angry Piggy denies the allegation and risks being thrown off the show due to contractual obligations. However, since there were no other witnesses, the director concludes that there is not enough proof to kick Piggy off. Citing a fear for his safety, the disgruntled Los stays in a motel for the remainder of the night.
