909: THEO TAKES A LEAP

Missions:
9: Parent Trap

My comments:
   The cast gets a clue just as the episode starts, saying that they will get to know each other better during the next mission. That morning the group gets an email that they need to go to an auditorium at the local college. When they get there the auditorium is filled with people and they are told that they need to sit in the chairs on the stage, with a chair in between each of them. Once everyone gets set down the group is surprised when one of their parents set down next to them. Then they are told that they will have play a game with their parents and then they are told that they have to leave. Once the cast leaves their parents are asked questions about their children to find out how much they know about them. For every question that they get right the group gets one point, up to a total of twelve points equal to 12,000 dollars. The parents and the cats do ok, but when they thought that it was over the group is told that there is more.
   The last part of the games is that the cast and their parents have to bungie-jump together. Even though most of the parents did not want to jump everyone ended up jumping and they receive a total of 10 points. The last part of the episode Theo and his Mom enjoyed spending time with each other and are on their way to be working through their problems.

What MTV had to say about the episode:
   Theo explains to Msaada that he left home as a teenager and has not seen his mother in over a year.
   The Road Rulers get a big surprise in the next mission as they're each greeted by one of their parents, who came to participate in a game show called "Parent Trap."
   The object of the game is to find out how much each parent and child knows about one another.
   The parents are skeptical about the final portion of the game, which requires them to bungee-jump tandem style with their children.
   One by one, each of the teams successfully jumps a free-fall distance of 70 feet.
   Theo is glad that he had the opportunity to spend some time with his mother and hopes to mend their relationship in the future.
