It is sad that Belou feels that everyone is against her.
I am glad that at least one person on the trip has some kind of compassion, and that is Patrice
I am glad that Antoine ran the last leg of the race, because if it was anyone else Antoine would have yelled at them.

Segment #1
   From Cannes , France, the gang heads off to the next mission in Lake Como, Italy. Before they start driving, Chris goofs around with the life-preserve with the clue written on it. Antoine tells the group now that they've all seen the beauty of old France, they'll get to see Italian style, which is much more different. They work out a calculation that without winning the million lira in the race, they'll have to each live off of $13 a day. Patrice suggests they cheat.
   They reach the lake, but they still don't know what kind of race it will be. Antoine guesses that the race will involve water skiing. They all meet the competition, which includes a muscular Antoine-lookalike with a bald head, named Michaele. They all eat dinner together. The girls flirt with Michaele and he says in Italian (in which the girls don't understand) taht he wants to get laid tonight.
   The group finds out the race will consist of water skiing, kyaking and rowing.
   Patrice says they need to win because they really need the money for the trip. Michaele laughingly says in Italian that he needs to win the race so he can buy a cell phone.
   The next morning, the group decides to practice to find their weaknesses and strengths in each event. Patrice puts on water skis first, then Belou, Chris and Michelle. Antoine shows off his skills skiing. Then the competition warms up and we notice that Michaele can ski circles around everyone there. Now Michelle and Belou are convinced they'll lose against the competition.
Segment #2
   Patrice, Chris and Belou get in a row boat to practice. She tells them it will take pure teamwork to row to the island quickly. They all discuss the best strategy to take. Antoine tells the group, without discussion, that Patrice and Chris should row and then says to the girls that Belou and himself should water ski, leaving Michelle to kyak.
   Belou says she's going crazy because of Antoine's controlling behavior. Belou starts screaming, "RIGHT, RIGHT!" at Patrice and Chris as they practice rowing around a buoy. When they get back...Belou accuses everyone of kissing Antoine's butt...but she loses something in the translation and instead says, "licking Antoine's butt." Chris laughs. Belou gets even angrier.
   They are all seen eating lunch and Belou starts arguing with Antoine and insulting him. She says he's the weakest person she's ever known and says he doesn't care about anyone but himself. Patrice gets fed up and tells them both to be quiet because he's attepting to have a nice lunch without a bunch of arguing. Michelle, says in confessional, that there's so much sexual/mental tension between Antoine and Belou that Belou had shoved it all into herself for so long, that she finally blew up.
   Belou gets up from the table in a huff and leaves after Chris laughs at her. Patrice asks Chris why he laughed at her when she was obviously upset. Chris says he couldn't just sit there and take it when she started insulting him as well. Patrice said Chris should have said something, instead of just laughing at her. Patrice gets up and goes after Belou.
   Patrice sits next to her outside and tells her she should try to control her emotions more. Belou says she left the table because she was on the verge of crying and she didn't want to give Antoine the satisfaction of seeing it. Patrice asks her if she thinks crying is a weak thing to do. She says no, but she doesn't want Antoine to have an advantage over her. She starts yelling at Patrice saying she wants to kick Antoine's ass. She continues to say to Patrice that she feels everyone in the group is mocking her and that she is the only one who knows what Antoine is really like.
   Back at the table, Michelle says she doesn't pity Belou and can't console her because of the way she acts.
   Belous comes back to the table. Belous says she doesn't know if they can seriously win the race because there's no "we", there's no "team." She tells the group she doesn't want to race. She doesn't care any more about the group.
Segment #3
   Patrice tries very hard to make peace again. Michelle says she would love for Belou to participate, but she won't force the issue. Belou reluctantly agrees to be in the race after all. She says she's not childish and that she's not asking for pity.
   The 1st person to touch the dock will be the winner. Water skiing with Belou is first. The competition (Marco?) beats her by a landslide at this event. Rowing is next with Patrice and Chris, who are already way behind the other team. Michelle says they were rowing in circles.
   Kayaking is next and Michelle rows her little heart out.
   Even though the other team is far ahead, they wait for them to catch up so it will be more sporting. Now Michaele and Antoine go head to head at water skiing. Antoine ends up falling and Michele wins. They all dive in at the end and have a good handshake.
   Chris says he doesn't like to lose. Patrice says now they have to live on $13 a day without the prize money.
   The clue for the next mission comes up on a motorized, toy boat. The clue is, "Take the train to Venice, remember to bring the GPS."
   Belou says about the whole race, "You think you know people after 3 weeks, but you don't and you just have to forgive.

   Michelle says there's so many levels in Europe, visually. Anton says that Poland is flat..."flat as an egg." Michelle corrects him by saying, "Flat as a pancake," and adds "flat as a bug on a windshield." Antoine laughs and says that's so southern of her to say that. They all laugh.

Water Games

   At Lake Como in Italy, the Road Rulers get fired up for a water sports competition with the Italian ski team for one million lire (about $600). The girls are charmed by Mikele ... the bald, beautiful, and scheming Italian skier, but the guys see right through him. In training, Belou blows up at the others for "licking Antoine's ass" (she means 'kissing'), and tension is thick for the competition, in which our heroes put forth a valiant effort, but eventually lose. A remote-control speedboat carries their next clue ... on to Venice!
